Hole Description
Excellent Opening Hole to start your round. A more aggressive shot down the right side of the fairway will open the second shot to a green guarded by a bunker.

Deceptively challenging Par 4. From the tee, this looks like a fairly straight forward hole, but don't let that fool you. A well placed drive will leave even the discerning player with a challenging iron into a long green with a hidden swale on the left side that is not visible from the fairway.

Par 3 with water fronting left side. This is an exciting Short Hole to get your heart pumping. Front the tee, your eye will instantly focus on a large pond and intimidating bunkers guarding the left side. Rest assured, this recently redesigned green complex will gladly accept your tee shot.

Hole Description
Straight away Par 4. Tee shot requires the player to avoid the Pot Bunker. The player when approaching the green will need to play to the correct side of the slope on the green. Miss on the wrong side and an up and down will be difficult.

Hole Description
First Par 5 of the course. Fun Par 5 that gets progressively harder as you play. Ideal tee shot is left side of fairway which will leave you a straight shot for your lay-up. Beware of water short of green. The green complex has a large false front and severe slopes behind.

Short Par 3 with a Good Birdie Opportunity. Short hole is defended by bunkers short and severe slopes behind green. Left of green is friendly and ball placed below pin will be ideal.

Short Dogleg Left Par 4. A short hole that requires an accurate tee shot. Arnold Palmer moved the green complex further to the left to create more options for the golfer. If the player avoids the trees on the tee shot, then a good score is probable.

Hole Description
Long Straight Away Par 5 with water on the right hand side challenging your second shot. Easiest Par 5 on the course. Players will enjoy the friendly landing area for the tee shot. Second shot will be played down to a short iron distance to green but beware as bunkers lurk to gobble up your ball. A Long approach is not a bad spot to recover around the green.

Hole Description
Wonderful Front Nine Finishing Par 4 along the Harbor. This may be one of the shortest par 4's on the course but don't let that fool you. Tee shots should be placed middle to left center as there is trouble right with bunkering, trees and water. Approach shots albeit with a short iron, will need to be accurate as the green is long and narrow with a difficult recovery shots surrounding the green.

Long Dogleg Par 4. An uphill, slight dogleg right tee shot, players will find that the majority of the time this holes plays into the wind making it even longer than it already is. It is best played to the center or left center with tee shot leaving an approach with a mid iron to a two-tiered green with bunkering on the left.

Dogleg Left Par 5 with water left challenging your drive and second shot. Generous fairway for the players. Ideal Tee Shot should be right side of fairway. Second shot will be placed in fairway between bunkers. Approach to green should favor left side as the front right of green slopes off.

Toughest Hole on Course. Don't Hold Back! Longest Par 4 and most difficult. Players will do themselves a favor by hitting their straightest drive of the day. Left side of fairway could find tree trouble and right just makes the already long hole play longer. Second shot should be left side of green or left of green to have best chance of recovery. Any shot missed right will be met with a very difficult shot.

Redan Hole: This holes is more intimidating than it actually plays. Proper shot is right side of green using slope to feed ball toward hole location.

Gentle Par 4. Best shot at Birdie coming home. Tee Shot towards cluster of bunkers will result in short iron to green. The Longer hitters will attempt to play over left bunker leaving a wedge into the green.

Par 5 with two-tiered green fronting water. Challenging Par 5. A long tee shot will leave the player with a tempting choice: to go for the green or layup. Green is two tiered and designed so that a player can play past hole and ball will roll back toward hole location. Be weary as the green is protected by water short. This hole will lead to birdies and others.

Hole Description
Biarritz Hole: Avoid the water and Out of Bounds on the start then the second shot will be presently with options based on hole location. Green is a Biarritz Design and the location on the top sections will be challenging.

Hole Description
Wonderful Par 3 overlooking water of Broad Creek. One of the most picturesque holes in Hilton Head. This is the Hardest Par 3 on the course. Players should protect from missing right or long.

Hole Description
Beautiful Par 4 overlooking Broad Creek. This scenic Par 4 borders Hilton Head Broad Creek River is a great finishing hole. Players will try to place their tee shot on a peninsula fairway. Players are faced with a mid-iron to a green situated near the water.
